* Maryland ran 60 percent of its snaps in the red zone (12 of 20). Last year, Maryland ran on 60.1 percent of its red zone snaps (83 of 138).

* Ronnie Tyler was targeted in the red zone only twice all last season. He doubled that total Monday.

* Matt Furstenburg nearly matched his total number of red zone targets from all of 2010 (three).
