Unsurprisingly based on the news during camp, Maryland will be a little short-handed on Saturday against William & Mary.

A dozen scholarship players are listed as out for the game. Four more guys on scholarship must sit out the season because of transfer rules.

So in Week One, the Terrapins have 69 scholarship players available (and just 64 who were on scholarship at this time last week, before coach Randy Edsall gave out his extras to walk-ons).

The only remotely decent news on this front? Only two players are done for the season (quarterback C.J. Brown and defensive end Andre Monroe.
