Maryland suspended linebacker Lukas Foreman for one year for violating the school’s student-athlete code of conduct.

Foreman, a freshman who redshirted last season, will begin his suspension immediately. He came to Maryland as a defensive back and was moved to linebacker this spring.

It is the second time this week Maryland suspended players from a revenue sport for a violation of the student-athlete code of conduct. On Monday, the school suspended men’s basketball guards Mychal Parker and Terrell Stoglin for one year. Parker announced plans to transfer last month, while Stoglin entered the NBA Draft on Sunday.
