Trick-or-treater visits Randy Edsall's home, asks the question of the week

Maryland has lost four quarterbacks to season-ending injuries.

Linebacker Shawn Petty will start at quarterback this week for the Terrapins.

Coach Randy Edsall knows this. The media knows this. Fans know this.

And, apparently, wee little trick-or-treaters know this, as Edsall found out when he returned home Wednesday night.

He didn’t have to deal with any curious children personally, but his wife received a hilarious question from one earlier in the evening.

“About eight kids came up to the door at one time and they were standing there and there was a little guy, maybe seven or eight years old or whatever,” Edsall said. “He got his candy and just kind of stayed there and didn’t leave or anything. All the other kids got their stuff and left and he said ‘How are they going to play a linebacker at quarterback?’ I said I’m glad I wasn’t home to answer the door for that one.”
