Navy right tackle Bradyn Heap will miss the rest of the season with a right foot injury.

Heap started two games for the Midshipmen (6-4) earlier in the season. He was injured late in Saturday’s 41-31 loss to Troy.

Andrew Barker will serve as Navy’s top reserve at both tackle spots on Saturday against Texas State.

Coach Ken Niumatalolo also said Monday freshman Mike Markovsky will be out four weeks with a leg injury. That would place the Dec. 8 game against Army on the edge of a possible return date and the Dec. 29 Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco.
