Forward Damonte Dodd and guard Roddy Peters signed with Maryland’s basketball program Wednesday.
The 6-foot-9 Dodd originally committed to Maryland as a senior at Queen Anne’s County High School last winter and is currently attending the Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va. He averaged 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks last year.
The 6-foot-4 Peters averaged 25 points and seven assists last season at Suitland High School.
Without any attrition, the Terps will lose two scholarship players (senior James Padgett and graduate student Logan Aronhalt) for next season. Maryland will also get ex-Michigan forward Evan Smotrycz eligible after he sits out this season under NCAA transfer guidelines.
