Maryland freshman Stefon Diggs was named the ACC’s co-specialist of the week after returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown on Saturday against North Carolina.

It was the second time Diggs was named the special teams player of the week by the conference and the fifth time he received a weekly award. He was the league’s rookie of the week three times.

Diggs shared this week’s honor with Florida State’s Dustin Hopkins, who kicked a pair of field goals of at least 50 yards.
