Maryland injury report: Wes Brown, Kerry Boykins out vs. Virginia

← return to D1SCOURSE

Maryland tailback Wes Brown (shoulder), wideout Kerry Boykins (hip/groin) and linebacker L.A Goree (neck) will miss Saturday’s game at Virginia with injuries.

Safety Matt Robinson will sit for the second straight week and fourth time in six games with a groin injury.

Brown leads Maryland in rushing with 150 yards. His absence would seem to make it likely Justus Pickett will handle a large load of the offense. Pickett is listed as probable with an illness.

Boykins, who sat out against West Virginia and played sparingly last week against Wake Forest, has hip and groin ailments. In four games, he has four receptions for 46 yards. He was passed on the depth chart by Stefon Diggs after his initial injury

Goree was injured during pregame warmups last week and did not play. The reserve inside linebacker has six tackles in four games.
