Bruce Boudreau just went through the injury rundown, so here it is:
*Mike Green and Tom Poti are out for tomorrow night.
*Tyler Sloan is going to be back in the lineup.
*The other injured guys (Semin, Fedorov, Clark, Schultz and Erskine) are all still out.
*Donald Brashear is questionable, and it is because of the slash by Arron Asham (funny how teams are less secretive about injuries when it was a play of questionable repute).
*David Steckel has a cold, so Boudreau held him out today to keep it from spreading. Boudreau hopes he will be able to go tomorrow night against the Rangers.
*If it is just Poti and Green missing, the Caps will need a body from Hershey. If Brashear and/or Steckel can’t go, then there will be a forward or two joining the Caps as well. If it is Brashear, I would think Graham Mink is a good guess on the call-up.
*In the better news department, both Schultz and Clark are getting closer to returning. Schultz said he would like to play either Dec. 26 against Buffalo or Dec. 28 against Toronto, but his finger is still swollen which makes shooting/passing a little difficult.
*Boudreau said there is a “good chance” Brent Johnson will start tomorrow night.
