Blackhawks score again, Caps respond

It was starting to look pretty dire for the Caps, as the Blackhawks’ Jack Skille scored with about 8 minutes left in the first period to put Chicago up 2-0. But Matt Bradley responded about 90 seconds later by taking a pass from David Steckel and flicking the puck right over Nikolai Khabubulin’s left pad.

It’s 2-1 Caps, and we may be on our way to another high-scoring affair.

It might be worth taking note of this score: Rangers 3, Flyers 0, with 7 minutes left in the first period in Philly. Apparently, Sarah Palin is not a good luck charm for the home team on Broad Street.
