The Blackhwaks and Caps are tied, 2-2, but the Caps have a slight lead in shots on goal and have had more powerplay opportunities. Overall, things are quite even, though.

The stats:

Shots on goal: Caps 18, Blackhawks 16. (Caps had 12 in the second period, to Chicago’s 6.)

Penalty Minutes: Caps 10, Blackhawks 10. 

Powerplay opportunities: Caps 4, (8:47) Blackhawks 2, (4:48.) No goals by either team. There was one 4 on 4 situation that lasted two minutes.
