The Caps have concluded practice, so here’s some updates on the injured guys:

* Donald Brashear came off the ice early, but Bruce Boudrea thinks he could play tomorrow against the Rangers. He said Brashear is more probable than questionable at this point.

* Tomas Fleischmann was coughing and just generally did not look well after practice. He said he doesn’t know how long it will take him to get back.

* Had a brief conversation with Alexander Semin (they are all brief, but they are happening more frequently now, which is progress). When asked about his back, he shrugged. When asked if he was close to coming back, he said no.

Boudreau said he hopes to have Fleischmann and Semin back by the Columbus game (a week from today).

* Boudreau also said Sergei Fedorov is likely to skate tomorrow. He has missed 24 of the past 27 games.
