DENVER — Let the anti-Obamacare rallies begin.

Americans for Prosperity plans to hold a “Hands Off My Health Care” rally on the steps of the Colorado state capitol here Friday, a day after the Supreme Court ruled constitutional the Affordable Health Care Act’s individual mandate, now known as a tax.

“Now isn’t the time to lie down and lick our wounds. Now is the time to rise up and go on the offensive,” said the AFP-Colorado in a statement. “The Court got it wrong and now it is up to us to settle this dispute through the democratic tools at our disposal.”

As it happens, President Obama will be in Colorado at the height of the rally. He’s scheduled to visit the scene of the Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado Springs on Friday.
