It’s been a good week for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Along with bragging rights, Mrs. Pelosi received the following from Michigan congressmen in honor of the Giants’ win:

• A gift basket from Zingerman’s Deli from Rep. John D. Dingell
• A “Motown Basket” filled with Detroit-made items like Faygo Pop and Better Made Chips from Rep. John Conyers Jr.
• Chocolate from Sanders Fudge, Gayle’s Chocolate and Morley Candy, Garden Fresh Gourmet salsa and Vernors soda from Rep. Sander M. Levin
• American Coney Island and Lafayette Coney Island dogs from Rep. Hansen Clarke

At a news conference at the Capitol a day earlier, Mrs. Pelosi took spent several minutes to gush about her love of the Giants and the baseball team’s World Series sweep over the Tigers last month. A one point during the event she held up a baseball signed by several Giants greats, joking that it’s among her husband’s prized possessions.
