Mitt Romney’s campaign, the Republican National Committee and related state party groups raised more than $111.8 million from Oct. 1 to Oct. 17, Mr. Romney’s campaign announced Thursday.

The total leaves the coordinated campaign with about $169 million cash on hand for the final sprint to Election Day.

“Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are offering a vision for the country that will finally bring a real recovery to the American people,” said Romney Victory National Finance Chairman Spencer Zwick. “Their plan will bring much needed change after the last four years, and it is why we have seen such momentum and strong support from our donors.”

The campaign noted that 794,958 donations — or 92 percent — were of $250 or less, and more than $38 million raised came from such donations. The contributions came from all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
