Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, postponed all roll call votes scheduled for Monday because of travel delays associated with the weather.

The Senate had been scheduled to consider the nomination of Patricia Millett to be on the U.S. Appeals Court for the D.C. Circuit. Ms. Millett was to be first judge voted on since the chamber voted to change the body’s filibuster rules so that presidential nominations, except for nominations to the U.S. Supreme Court, would require only a simple majority vote.
