Vice President Joseph R. Biden joked Tuesday with the British prime minister that winning a second term was “easy.”

As Mr. Biden entered a room at No. 10 Downing St. in London with Prime Minister David Cameron to address journalists, Mr. Cameron was heard to ask the vice president, “So you signed up for another four years?”

“It was easy, nothing to it,” Mr. Biden replied.

The vice president is attending a meeting of the United Kingdom’s national security council as he wraps up a trip to Europe that also took him to Berlin, Munich and Paris with wife Jill.

Asked by Mr. Cameron if President Obama is in good form, Mr. Biden answered, “The president is in great form.”
