He’s piloted the Millennium Falcon and fought terrorists aboard Air Force One. Now, actor Harrison Ford, an avid pilot, will be on Capitol Hill on Tuesday to talk about aviation.

Rep. Sam Graves, Missouri Republican, said he has invited Mr. Ford to talk to the House General Aviation Caucus as a way to draw attention to aviation issues.

“I’m pleased to welcome Harrison Ford to tomorrow’s discussion, and look forward to hearing his thoughts on the timely issues of importance to America’s pilots,” Mr. Graves said.

Mr. Graves didn’t mention specific issues in his press release announcing Mr. Ford’s appearance, but he did attach a copy of a letter he and three other congressmen sent last week protesting the Federal Aviation Administration’s plans to cut staffing for more than 200 control towers.
