It’s not HealthCare.gov, but another government website — that of the Interior Department — has been down since Friday.

Those trying to reach www.DOI.gov instead see a short message saying they are having problems, but letting visitors know they can still get to websites for individual agencies such as the Bureau of Indian Affairs or the National Park Service.

“The department’s website is currently experiencing technical difficulties. The department’s server maintenance crews are working around the clock to restore the website as soon as possible,” said Jessica Kershaw, a spokeswoman for the department.

Some of the agencies within the department also appeared to be having problems Tuesday morning. Trying to find a park on the National Park Service website leads to a message that says: “The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error. Please contact the website administrator.”

Interior Department officials blamed the five-day problem on a power outage in Denver, where the department’s web servers are based.

They said they hope to have the site working by Tuesday afternoon.
