The Giants will commemorate Randy Johnson’s 300th game milestone at AT&T Park on Saturday, June 20, prior to the Giants vs. Texas Rangers game.
The team will hold a special pre-game ceremony, prior to the 6:05 p.m. start, to honor Johnson, who has been a Giant for less than three months. Joining in the celebration will be other 300-game winners, including Hall of Famers Gaylord Perry and Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver and Johnson’s teammates and family
Fans attending the game will receive a commemorative Randy Johnson 300th Career Win poster print.
But they won’t have seen it happen live. That memory is in the sole possession of the handful of fans who showed up at Nationals Park on that rain-soaked June 4 afternoon to see it.
I will be on The Sports Reporters on ESPN 980 AM Washington on Monday, June 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.
