NEW YORK — The Nationals are sending Jason Marquis to the hill today in hopes of their first series win of the young season. Marquis is 6-7 in his career against the Mets with a 4.65 ERA but he has only pitched at Citi Field once. He went six innings and allowed two earned runs off seven hits in that appearance.
The Nationals will be looking for the series victory against Mets’ right-hander Chris Young.
