MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — They are preparing to take the tarp off the field here at Sun Life Stadium, a good sign considering the massive rain and wind storms that just rolled through the area.

Here are the lineups for the Nationals’ first road series of the year:

Nationals:

Jerry Hairston Jr. 2B
Jayson Werth RF
Ryan Zimmerman 3B
Adam LaRoche 1B
Michael Morse LF
Rick Ankiel CF
Wilson Ramos C
Alex Cora SS
Jason Marquis P

Marlins:

Chris Coghlan CF
Omar Infante 2B
Hanley Ramirez SS
Gaby Sanchez 1B
Logan MOrrison LF
John Buck C
Donnie Murphy 3B
Emilio Bonifacio RF
Anibal Sanchez P

This is a bit of a different look for manager Jim Riggleman, resting both Ian Desmond and Danny Espinosa and opting to go with the veteran tandem of Hairston and Cora up the middle. Desmond has been struggling a bit at the plate as the season gets underway and Espinosa had a tough day defensively on Sunday.

However, don’t discount the fact that the Nationals have a tough schedule in the early going here with three days off in the first 12 days of the season and neither Cora or Hairston have really played since spring training. They’ve got to stay fresh somehow.
