The Nationals vs. today's starter: RHP R.A. Dickey

FLUSHING, N.Y. — The Nationals are going with their Opening Day lineup today for the Mets home opener, subbing Jordan Zimmermann into the pitcher’s spot of course.

Dickey, a knuckleballer, can be tough solely for the uniqueness of his pitch but several Nationals have some decent numbers against him.

Here’s today’s lineup and their career numbers against Dickey:

Ian Desmond SS: .143 AVG in 7 at-bats, 1 BB, .250 OBP, .143 SLG

Jayson Werth RF: .273 AVG in 11 at-bats, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 2 BB, .385 OBP, .636 SLG, 4 K

Ryan Zimmerman 3B: .125 AVG in 8 at-bats, .222 OBP, .125 SLG

Adam LaRoche 1B: .250 AVG in 4 at-bats, .250 OBP, .250 SLG

Michael Morse LF: .333 AVG in 3 at-bats, .333 OBP, .333 SLG

Rick Ankiel CF: .286 AVG in 7 at-bats, 1 2B, .286 OBP, .429 SLG

Danny Espinosa 2B: 0-for-3 in 3 at-bats

Ivan Rodriguez C: .333 AVG in 12 at-bats, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB, .385 OBP, .417 SLG, 3 K

Jordan Zimmermann P: Never faced


Wilson Ramos: 1.000 AVG in 2 at-bats, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1.000 OBP, 3.000 SLG
