NEW YORK — The Nationals are facing a left-handed starting pitcher for the first time this season, thus producing a lineup that Jim Riggleman had yet to use in its entirety.

Michael Morse gets the start at first base, his first of the year, in place of Adam LaRoche and Jerry Hairston Jr. starts in left field. Interesting to see Riggleman stick with Rick Ankiel this afternoon as he’s not particulary strong against left-handers with a .234 career average against them.
