Werth sits, Nix in right, Marrero back at 1B: today's lineups (update, Ramos scratched)

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves haven’t played a game since Friday but they’ll send Jair Jurrjens to the mound tonight to face Livan Hernandez and the Nationals. They’ll do so against a Nationals lineup that will be missing Jayson Werth, features Laynce Nix in right field and Chris Marrero at first base.

The Nationals do well against Jurrjens — which makes it an interesting decision for the Braves to line him up for Game 1 of this series since they had a mini-All-Star break, and, therefore could set their rotation any way they’d like. Some of the Nationals with the best numbers against Jurrjens: Ryan Zimmerman - .333 AVG, .375 OBP; Rick Ankiel - .429 AVG, .429 OBP; Nix - .375 AVG, .375 OBP.

And, of course, Livan Hernandez: .750 AVG, .750 OBP, 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI

Here are the full lineups behind Hernandez and Jurrjens:

Update: Wilson Ramos was scratched from tonight’s lineup. He is under the weather. Jesus Flores will start in his place.
