DENVER — Nationals right-hander Jordan Zimmermann is fast approaching his 160-inning limit for the 2011 season. With that in mind, Zimmermann’s start tonight against the Colorado Rockies should be one of the final four he will make this year.

If the Nationals remain on-turn, Zimmermann will pitch again on the 10th, 17th and 22nd to close out his first full season after Tommy John surgery.

He’ll take the mound tonight with a traditional lineup behind him and one without a single change from Thursday night’s 6-3 loss to the Rockies.

Right-hander Juan Nicasio will throw for Colorado. Here are the lineups behind them:

Nationals:

Rick Ankiel CF
Danny Espinosa 2B
Ryan Zimmerman 3B
Michael Morse 1B
Jayson Werth RF
Laynce Nix LF
Ian Desmond SS
Wilson Ramos C
Jordan Zimmermann P

Rockies:

TBA
