Espinosa leaves game after fouling a pitch off his foot

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla — Danny Espinosa was just helped into the clubhouse, looking like he was unable to put weight on his right foot after fouling a pitch off of it in the top of the seventh inning.

Don’t have any real details to report now, we’ll find out much more about how he’s doing after the game but I’m sure the Nationals are hoping for the best. Espinosa’s been having a strong spring both at the plate (.324 batting average) and in the field.
