ATLANTA — Nationals manager Jim Riggleman said yesterday that he’s going to go with the so-called hot hand when it comes to making out the lineup. Right now, that means that Laynce Nix will get every opportunity to continue to deliver.

After a 3-for-5 night Wednesday, Nix is starting again tonight in left field as the Nationals face Derek Lowe and the Braves. Alex Cora, one of the heroes from Wednesday’s extra-innings affair, was also in the starting lineup with the start at third base. Adam LaRoche, who’s been the team’s primary cleanup hitter, dropped to fifth.

Here are the full lineups:

Nationals:

Roger Bernadina CF
Ian Desmond SS
Jayson Werth RF
Laynce Nix LF
Adam LaRoche 1B
Danny Espinosa 2B
Ivan Rodriguez C
Alex Cora 3B

Braves:

Martin Prado LF
Nate McLouth CF
Chipper Jones 3B
