BALTIMORE — With yet another new lineup combination, Nationals manager Jim Riggleman will given Adam LaRoche a day off from first base and has removed Matt Stairs from the designated hitter spot after a 1-for-8 showing in the first two games of the series.

In LaRoche’s place, Michael Morse will get the start at first base. Given the opportunity to keep Wilson Ramos in the game and continue his progression at the plate while giving him a day off at catcher, Riggleman has slotted Ramos in as the teams DH this afternoon with Ivan Rodriguez getting the start behind the plate.

Ramos has never been a DH in his major league career which, to be fair, was only seven games long in the American League before he was traded last summer.

Alex Cora also gets the start at third base, giving Jerry Hairston Jr. a day off.

Here are the full lineups behind Jordan Zimmermann:

Roger Bernadina CF
