Wilson Ramos returned to Washington, D.C. Friday afternoon for the first time since he was kidnapped and rescued in a harrowing incident in Venezuela. Ramos spoke briefly with Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo in the Nationals clubhouse and was also greeted by teammates Ryan Zimmerman and Steve Lombardozzi, who were working out at the park.

Courtesy of Washington Times photographer Rod Lamkey, here are a few photos from Ramos’ meeting with the media and interaction with his teammates.
