ATLANTA — The Nationals wrap up their final multi-city trip of the 2011 season this evening at Turner Field with Chien-Ming Wang going against Atlanta’s Tim Hudson. The Nationals have yet to augment their roster with any September call-ups but there’s a distinct feel to the lineup Davey Johnson’s been using lately that it’s made with an eye toward 2012.

Wilson Ramos, who has missed the last two games with a stomach flu, is back in the lineup and feeling better. Ramos was still under the weather early yesterday afternoon, trying to keep his food down, but he seemed to perk up around batting practice and was out with the rest of the team to stretch and hit. He also mixed in a BP homer or two.

Jayson Werth will also return to center field for the third game this year as Michael Morse shifts to left for the sixth straight game with Chris Marrero at first base, and Laynce Nix moves over to right field. Wang will be making his seventh start of the season and looking for his third victory.

– The Nationals have also reinstated left-hander Doug Slaten from the disabled list. The clubhouse has not yet opened to reporters but I’d assume that he is available to pitch tonight. Slaten has been on the disabled list since June 4 with left elbow ulnar neuritis. He missed the last 77 games working his way back and made nine rehab starts, Slaten started four games, posted a 1.74 ERA with 11 strikeouts and no walks spread across the Gulf Coast League, Single-A Hagerstown, Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Sryacuse.
