The Nationals’ top five picks from this year’s draft — signed for a collective $16.5 million — are among the 52 players on the Washington Nationals’ instructional league roster released today.

Sixth-overall selection Anthony Rendon is joined by fellow draftees Alex Meyer, Brian Goodwin, Matt Purke and Kylin Turnbull.


Based out of the Nationals’ complex in Viera, Fla., the team operates from Sept. 16 to Oct. 12.

Pitching prospects A.J. Cole, Robbie Ray are among other notables on the roster.
