HOUSTON — After two straight extra-innings games here at Minute Maid Park, the Nationals and Astros get back to it for Game 3 of this four-game series. A win tonight would give the Nationals the series.

Jayson Werth returns to the Nationals’ lineup after a day off to rest his legs and Kurt Suzuki makes his third start as a member of the Nationals, this one catching a familiar arm in Gio Gonzalez. Suzuki, who was Gonzalez’s battery mate for much of his time in Oakland, caught Gonzalez’s first major league start.

Tonight he’ll catch his first with them together in Nationals uniforms.
