MIAMI — After Drew Storen was touched for three hits and four runs in 2/3 of an inning in Sunday’s rehab appearance with Double-A Harrisburg, he’ll make at least one more minor league appearance. That comes Tuesday with either Single-A Potomac or Harrisburg.
The Harrisburg staff, Nationals manager Davey Johnson said Monday, felt another game would help improve Storen’s command and the consistency of his breaking ball. But Storen’s velocity is fine.
“I think his arm is in great shape,” Johnson said.
Storen hasn’t pitched this season after surgery to remove a bone chip from his right elbow.
