Set aside June 14 and at least $60, Nationals fans. That’s the night third baseman Ryan Zimmerman’s “A Night at the Park” fundraiser for his ziMS foundation will be held this year at Nationals Park.

The annual fundraiser, which is in its third year, will be attended by Zimmerman and many of his teammates, include a live performance from Guster as well as silent and live auctions. Those who purchase VIP tickets will also have access to an open bar as well as a gourmet food selection.

Here are the basics: The even will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 14 at Nationals Park. Tickets can be purchased here and they range from $60 for general admission tickets to $500 for VIP tickets and $1,600 for a group of four VIP tickets.

All of the proceeds from the night will go to Zimmerman’s ziMS foundation, a charity the Nationals’ third baseman founded in 2006 to help find a cure for a cause that is extremely close to his heart. In 1995, Zimmerman’s mother, Cheryl, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic and unpredictable disease that affects the body’s central nervous system.

The foundation has fundraising events throughout the year, and donations can be made on the same page to buy tickets for this event. The first two “A Night at the Park” events raised more than $400,000 for the foundation.

We’ll certainly have more on the event as it nears but that’s the basic info you’ll need and if you’re interested in attending, I’d suggest getting your tickets soon.
