Nationals-Cardinals remaining game times announced

The Nationals will continue their run of daytime playoff games Thursday but shift to prime time Friday if the NLDS with the Cardinals goes that far.

Major League Baseball announced Game 4 at Nationals Park will start at 4:07 p.m. Thursday and be televised by TBS. The game would shift back to 5:07 p.m. if the Tigers-Athletics series ends before then. (The Tigers lead 2-0 entering Tuesday’s Game 3 in Oakland.)

Either way, the dreaded “Sun Monster” should be in evidence for at least the first few innings, much to the outfielders’ dismay.

That won’t be a problem in Game 5, which would be Friday at 8:37 p.m. if necessary, also on TBS.
