It’s the day after the Washington Nationals made a little history in clinching a playoff spot, and not much will change with their lineup as they turn their attention  to the Milwaukee Brewers.

Jesus Flores takes Kurt Suzuki’s spot behind the plate, batting eighth. He’ll be catching for Edwin Jackson, who will try to become the Nats’ fifth starter to hit the 10-win mark. Jackson is 9-10 with a 3.89 earned-run average this season.

Jackson gets to see a Brewers team that is in the thick of the wild card race, 2 1/2 games back of St. Louis, pending the Cardinals’ afternoon game vs. the Cubs. Ryan Braun is hitting .311, and Jonathan Lucroy (.321, 52 RBI) has helped offset the loss of Prince Fielder.

Milwaukee throws righty Shaun Marcum (5-4, 3.91).
