Regular third baseman Ryan Zimmerman and starting shortstop Ian Desmond are not in the Nationals’ lineup Sunday against the Miami Marlins. Chad Tracy will start at third, regular second baseman Danny Espinosa will shift to shortstop and Steve Lombardozzi will play second.

The changes are likely routine days off for Zimmerman and Desmond after the grueling rain-delayed game last night. Nationals manager Davey Johnson was unavailable to comment on the lineup.

Edwin Jackson also will take the mound Sunday and try to become the fourth Nationals pitcher to reach double-digit wins. He and Ross Detwiler, who pitched five innings but received no decision Saturday, have nine wins apiece.

The Nationals will look to win their third consecutive series Sunday in a rubber match against the Marlins. They haven’t lost a series outright since being swept by the Philadelphia Phillies on Aug. 24-26.
