Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman has set a date for his annual “A Night at the Park” fundraiser to benefit his ziMS Foundation.

The event will be held at Nationals Park on May 23 and, this year, will feature the band Third Eye Blind.

Over the past few years, the event has become the signature one for Zimmerman’s ziMS Foundation, which raises money to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis — a disease that affects roughly 400,000 Americans, including Zimmerman’s mother, Cheryl.

Last year, Zimmerman’s “Night at the Park” raised over $200,000 and the foundation has raised over $1 million since its inception in 2006.

From the event website, “A Night at the Park” 2013 is a unique collaboration of music and entertainment. Come out and support the ziMS Foundation with Ryan and his Nationals’ teammates with a night of food, drink, auctions and live music. The unique stage set-up behind home plate creates one of the most intimate night-time musical experiences one could imagine.

Ticket prices start at $45, or $35/person if you purchase in a group of 10, and range up to $500 on the VIP packages. All tickets and information can be found here.
