The Washington Nationals will take their three-game winning streak into Friday’s matchup against Dillon Gee and the New York Mets, hoping that they can continue to take advantage of a stretch in their schedule exclusively against losing teams.

The Mets, without Matt Harvey or David Wright and having just traded away Marlon Byrd and John Buck, are depleted. But they give the Nationals trouble almost every time the teams meet, and Gee, in particular, has often had his way with the Nationals’ offense.
