Nationals-Braves lineups: Trying to dodge the rain

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The rain appears to be coming down fairly hard right now at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports with about an hour before the Nationals are scheduled to take on the Atlanta Braves. It’s unclear right now if they’ll be able to get the game in, but it’s important for at least one Nationals player that they do.

Ross Detwiler is scheduled to have just two starts with the Nationals before he leaves for Team USA and the World Baseball Classic. Should his start today get rained out, it would force the Nationals to juggle the schedule again to try to get him the necessary work before he leaves on March 4.

At any rate, here are the lineups for both teams should they play:

Eury Perez CF
Danny Espinosa 2B
Bryce Harper LF
Tyler Moore 1B
Ian Desmond SS
Chris Marrero DH
Carlos Rivero RF
Anthony Rendon 3B
Jhonatan Solano C
— Ross Detwiler P

Reed Johnson LF
Jason Heyward RF
Justin Upton DH
Freddie Freeman 1B
B.J. Upton CF
Dan Uggla 2B
Juan Francisco 3B
Christian Bethancourt C
Ramiro Pena SS
— Mike Minor P
