VIERA, Fla. — Washington Nationals manager Davey Johnson was asked a question about the new, new-look Miami Marlins on Wednesday morning. Johnson, never one to mince words, joked that he was “still trying to learn their names.”

In truth, there are a few recognizable names in Wednesday’s Marlins’ lineup, but there are plenty more recognizable names in the Nationals’ lineup with Jayson Werth and Adam LaRoche making their spring debuts, along with starter Dan Haren.

Bryce Harper hits second in a lineup that includes Werth, LaRoche and Denard Span, who will lead things off on his 29th birthday, but I’d caution against reading too much into that. With Ryan Zimmerman still absent from the lineup the Nationals don’t have their full complement of players just yet.

Here are the full lineups:

Denard Span CF
Bryce Harper LF
Jayson Werth RF
Adam LaRoche 1B
Chad Tracy 3B
Danny Espinosa DH
Kurt Suzuki C
Steve Lombardozzi 2B
Zach Walters SS
— Dan Haren P

Christian Yelich LF
Donovan Solano 2B
Matt Downs 3B
Joe Mahoney 1B
Alfredo Silvero DH
Chris Coghlan RF
Adeiny Hechavarria SS
Kyle Skipworth C
Gorkys Hernandez CF
— Nathan Eovaldi P
