The Nationals will be holding NatsFest on Jan. 26 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, an event that will include select players, coaches and team personnel.
The event, which will be open to fans from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., will offer access to a host of activities including live batting cages, Question & Answer sessions with players and coaches, a Kids Zone area and more.
A preliminary roster of players expected to attend the event was released Wednesday on the Nationals’ official site and is headlined by Bryce Harper, Jayson Werth, Ian Desmond and Gio Gonzalez.
Here are the players expected to attend:
Nationals owner Mark Lerner and general manager Mike Rizzo are also expected to be in attendance. Ryan Zimmerman and Davey Johnson are both not expected to attend given that they’re traveling, Zimmerman on his honeymoon and Johnson on vacation in Africa. Stephen Strasburg is also not on the preliminary list as he’s holding a charity event in San Diego that weekend.
