Nationals - Mets lineups: Nationals looking to get back on track

MIAMI — The Washington Nationals have three games separating them from a three-day break and something of a “fresh” start when they open the second half next weekend at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

But these are three important games, as all of them are for the Nationals at this point in the season as they sit two games over .500, and six games back of the Atlanta Braves with 70 to play. 

They’ll face three right-handed pitchers in this series, starting with Nathan Eovaldi Friday night, All-Star rookie Jose Fernandez on Saturday and Henderson Alvarez on Sunday. 

Stephen Strasburg makes his final start of the first half on Friday.
