JUPITER, Fla. — The Washington Nationals packed up the buses in the complex at Viera with almost the entire remaining camp roster and trucked down I-95 to Roger Dean Stadium to play the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.
With manager Davey Johnson “going to the whip” this week before he eases off his regulars in the final week of spring training, there will be few days off for the main guys in the next couple of days.
Chris Young will make what could be his final start with the Nationals, with his March 24 opt-out date inching ever-closer.
