Nationals - Tigers lineups: Strasburg makes penultimate spring start, plus Nationals cut Kimball, Accardo

VIERA, Fla. — Stephen Strasburg will make his penultimate start of the spring Friday afternoon as he and the Washington Nationals face the Detroit Tigers for the final time before the regular season.

The game, which will be broadcast on MASN at 1:05 p.m., will feature the Nationals’ regular lineup for the third straight game, save for the catchers who’ve been alternating. Several regulars will get Saturday off, though, when the team travels to Port St. Lucie.

– One roster note: The Nationals trimmed the major league camp roster by two more on Friday morning, sending right-handers Cole Kimball and Jeremy Accardo to the minor league side. Technically, Kimball will be optioned to Triple-A and Accardo will be re-assigned to minor league camp. He will likely be in Triple-A as well.

The team now has 32 players in major league camp, after the addition of J.C. Ramiro earlier on Friday.
