Nationals - Yankees lineups: Jayson Werth, Bryce Harper in lineup

Jayson Werth’s left elbow is sore and stiff after he took a pitch off it in Wednesday’s game, but he is in the Washington Nationals’ lineup Friday afternoon as they take on the New York Yankees at Nationals Park. 

Bryce Harper’s left thumb is still an issue, but better — and not enough to keep him out of the lineup, either.

The Nationals will finalize their 25-man roster after Friday’s game, making what appears to be a decision between putting Henry Rodriguez on the disabled list to begin the season and keeping J.C. Romero, or sending Romero to Syracuse and going with Rodriguez to open the season.
