Nationals - Giants lineups: Bryce Harper returns while Danny Espinosa and Kurt Suzuki sit

SAN FRANCISCO — Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper was back in the lineup on Monday after missing the weekend with pain and swelling in his left knee. 

Harper, who is now a week removed from his vicious collision with the wall in right field at Dodger Stadium, was hoping to be able to return by the start of the Nationals’ three-game series with the Giants.

Second baseman Danny Espinosa, struggling significantly at the plate, is out of the lineup. Steve Lombardozzi gets the start at second base.

Zach Duke, making the spot start for Ross Detwiler will be caught by his 2012 Triple-A Syracuse teammate Jhonatan Solano as Kurt Suzuki also gets a day off.
