Nationals - Braves lineups: Nationals in search of a sweep

← return to Nationals Watch

The Washington Nationals will send Ross Ohlendorf to the mound Wednesday night in search of their first sweep of the season over the Atlanta Braves.

After sweeping a doubleheader from the Braves on Tuesday, the Nationals will also look to solidify their second consecutive winning season with their 82nd victory tonight.

It may seem like a small thing — and largely inconsequential if the Nationals’ last-ditch effort for the playoffs falls short — but up until last year 82 wins was a goal to be strived for, and was never hit.

Here are the full lineups:

Nationals

Denard Span CF
Ryan Zimmerman 3B
Jayson Werth RF
Bryce Harper LF
Ian Desmond SS
Adam LaRoche 1B
Wilson Ramos C
Anthony Rendon 2B
Ross Ohlendorf P

Braves

Justin Upton RF
Freddie Freeman 1B
Evan Gattis LF
Brian McCann C
