Former Secretary of State George Schultz has some advice for President-elect Barack Obama, Donald Lambro reports.

It’s this: Keep President Bush’s policy of preemptive defense in place because it has helped prevent post-9/11 attacks.

So the policy that got us into Iraq (which Obama criticizes) is the same policy that has kept us safe since 9/11 (which Obama acknowledges).

A tricky situation, indeed.  Makes you wonder why anybody would want to be president.
